Course Overview
The Level 1 Precision Shooting program is designed as the foundation for all advanced training. While it is a prerequisite for Level 2, it is also structured so that participants can attend Level 1 independently and still gain all the essential knowledge required to begin or continue long-range shooting.
This course is ideal for beginners, while intermediate shooters will also benefit from refining their techniques and strengthening their understanding of precision shooting fundamentals.
Training Format
This 9-hour interactive training is divided into two parts:
- Morning Session (7:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Classroom-based theoretical training covering key concepts and fundamentals.
- Afternoon Session (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM)
Practical shooting exercises at the range to apply learned techniques in real conditions.
What You Will Learn
- The five fundamental principles of precision shooting
- Shooting positions and stability techniques
- Breath control, grip, eye-to-optic alignment, and body positioning
- Understanding optics (reticles, elevation/windage adjustments, parallax, MOA/MIL systems)
- Comparing MRAD (Mils) and MOA with basic conversions
- Gyroscopic stability and projectile behavior
- Chronographing projectile velocities
- Fundamentals of using ballistic software and data input
- Ballistic coefficient and trajectory basics
- Weapon preparation for precision shooting
- Firearm maintenance and barrel break-in procedures
- Ammunition handling, storage, and safety
- Bullet selection for target shooting and hunting
Practical Training
Hands-on application at the shooting range:
- Zeroing concepts and live shooting practice
- Practical shot correction exercises
- Target-based shooting drills, including the “Battleship” target exercise

If you do not currently own a firearm, we strongly recommend completing this course before making a purchase. The guidance provided during the training will help you make informed equipment decisions.

Training is conducted in small groups (maximum of 8 participants) to ensure high-quality instruction and personalized guidance.
Level 1 is required to access all advanced precision shooting courses.
All courses begin at 7:30 AM. Please arrive between 7:00 AM and 7:20 AM.
