About Practical Training
Ballistic Precision has been in constant development since 2014 in association with Long Range Academy. It was established through a partnership between Long Range Hunter and Longshot Shooting School in Alberta.
Training is primarily conducted in Quebec, although certain sessions may take place outside the province. Our programs are continuously refined to ensure they remain relevant, practical, and aligned with real-world shooting environments.
Our courses are comprehensive and cover a wide range of topics directly and indirectly related to long-range shooting and hunting.

Training Path
Our practical precision shooting programs are designed as a progressive learning journey — from building strong fundamentals to advancing into real-world long-range performance.
Precision Shooting – Level 1
Build a strong foundation in precision shooting through structured theory, practical drills, and essential long-range shooting fundamentals.
Level 1 is the starting point for all shooters who want to develop accuracy, confidence, and safe shooting habits. It is designed for beginners, while still offering valuable learning for intermediate participants.

- Beginner to intermediate level
- Prerequisite for Level 2
Precision Shooting – Level 2
Advance into long-range shooting with immersive field training, ballistic analysis, environmental reading, and real-world shooting scenarios.
Level 2 is designed for shooters who have completed Level 1 and are ready to move into advanced long-range application. This program combines classroom theory, range preparation, and full-day shooting practice at extended distances.
